Our License

We like to keep things simple and fair.

Our license agreement only applies to edited PNG images. To the best of our knowledge, our raw scans are no longer protected by copyright. Some of our scans are reserved exclusively for members as our costs are high and our members help us to continue growing the library.

The dos
  • Unlimited personal and commercial client projects.

    Many stock websites will require you to license images on a per/client basis. Once you purchase one of our images, you can use it as many times as you like. Providing each use case is within the rights of our license.
  • Up to 125,000 physical or digital products for sale.

    Your item’s design must be significantly different than the original photo; require time, effort, and skill to produce. Simply put; You're able to crop/cut individual elements from a stock image and use that within an end product, but unable to copy/paste/print/sell the whole stock image (Refer to the FAQ's below for more information)
  • Unlimited physical advertisements for local, national, and global markets
  • Digital paid advertisements with unlimited impressions
  • Broadcast and streaming for unlimited lifetime viewers
  • One native app, web app, or game downloaded or sold up to 125,000 times
The don'ts
  • Resell or redistribute

    You're unable to resell or redistribute our images in a way that is seen to compete directly with our platform. For example; Reselling one of our images as a downloadable stock image or giving it away for free.
  • Use for clients with an annual revenue that exceeds $25 million

    Additional licensing is required for this. Please get in touch and we can discuss licensing options to cover every need.
Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, but special limitations apply based on your intended use. You’re able to create unlimited non-commercial t-shirts, mugs, or tote bags. If your t-shirt, mug, or tote bag is for sale, then our license allows up to 125,000 end units to be sold before requiring additional licensing (contact us for more info regarding that).

Please keep in mind that your item’s design must be significantly different than the original photo; require time, effort, and skill to produce; and not derive its primary value from the photo itself.

You’re able to use the images within a print for sale (up to 125,000 units), but you’re unable to copy/paste/print/sell one of our images with zero alterations. The end design must be significantly different to the original image. 

Absolutely! Many of our resources include multiple design elements in one  image that are perfect for editing out and using elsewhere (logo design, web design, print, marketing, apparel, etc).

Yes! You can create an unlimited number of non-commercial books or albums using our images or up to 125,000 end units if the product is for sale. Keep in mind that your cover’s design must be significantly different than the original image. Combining the image with typography is considered significant.
