By downloading or using our assets through your Century Library membership, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, commercial-use license to use them in accordance with the terms below.
You do not own the artwork — you are granted usage rights under this agreement while your subscription is active.
Additional Licensing Required for: Embedding fonts or illustrations in apps, games, or software. Broadcast or distribution exceeding 125,000 end units/impressions. Multi-seat licensing for large organizations or distributors.
Q: What kind of license comes with Century Library assets?
A: All assets come with a Standard Commercial License. You can use the resources in personal and commercial projects, for yourself or your clients, while following the rules above.
Q: Do I own the artwork or fonts I download?
A: No. You’re granted usage rights, not ownership. All assets remain the intellectual property of Century Library.
Q: Can I keep using the assets after I cancel my membership?
A: Yes – but only in projects you created while your membership was active. You cannot use the assets in new projects after cancellation.
Q: Can I sell physical products using your artwork?
A: Yes! You can sell posters, packaging, cards, journals, and other physical goods, as long as the artwork is part of a finished design and not extractable.
Q: Can I use your assets in digital products like printables or junk journal kits?
A: Yes – with conditions:
– Your product must be a flattened design (JPG, PDF, etc.) where our artwork can’t be extracted.
– You must add your own design value — not just resell our images as-is.
– You cannot bundle lightly edited scans/assets into packs or kits that compete with our offerings.
Q: Can I use your textures and ephemera to create collage sheets or background papers?
A: Yes, if the final product is flattened and non-extractable, and you’ve added design value (e.g. overlays, layering, typography, layouts).
Q: Can I sell or give away your original scans, PNGs, or background files?
A: No. You may not share, sell, or distribute our original files, even if slightly altered.
Q: Can I use your illustrations in downloadable digital stickers or clipart?
A: No — unless the sticker is flattened and part of a complete design (e.g. a journaling page). Standalone clipart or sticker files are not permitted.
Q: Can I use your fonts for client projects, logos, or print design?
A: Yes! That’s fully covered under the standard license.
Q: Can I use your fonts on websites?
A: Yes — web embedding via @font-face is permitted.
Q: Can I use your fonts in apps, games, or software?
A: Not under the standard license. You’ll need an extended license for app or software embedding. Contact us to arrange it.
Q: Can I offer editable templates with your fonts included?
A: No. Fonts cannot be embedded in editable templates (e.g. Canva, Corjl, Photoshop, etc.) where customers can extract or modify them.
Q: Can I share the font file with my client?
A: No. You can send your client a flattened design, but they need their own license to use the font themselves.
Q: Can I use your artwork or fonts in Print-on-Demand products (e.g. Zazzle, Redbubble)?
A: Yes, with two key rules:
– Your design must be flattened and non-editable.
– The customer cannot access or extract the artwork or font.
Q: Can I use your assets in editable design templates (Photoshop, Canva, Corjl, etc.)?
A: No. Editable templates are not allowed because they give end users access to our raw assets.
Q: Can I create wedding invitation templates or stationery for sale?
A: Yes – if your designs are flattened, not editable, and don’t give access to the underlying illustration or font file.
Q: Can I use your assets in client projects that will be reused in multiple formats (e.g. brand kits)?
A: Yes — but your client cannot extract or reuse the artwork or font separately. For multi-use or editable deliveries, they’ll need their own license.
Q: Can I use your assets in social media graphics, blog posts, or video thumbnails?
A: Absolutely. That’s fully allowed. Just don’t offer the artwork for download.
Q: Can I use your work in YouTube or TikTok intros, motion graphics, or slideshows?
A: Yes, if the asset is used within a final, flattened video. No distribution of the raw files.
Q: Can I use fonts or illustrations in a newsletter or email template?
A: Yes — provided the design is flattened (images, graphics) and the assets aren’t shared or distributed.
Q: What counts as “large-scale commercial use”?
A: If your design or product is distributed to more than 125,000 end users, impressions, downloads, or physical units — you’ll need an extended license.
Q: Do I need a separate license for each project or client?
A: No. As long as you’re not exceeding 125,000 units and are following the rules, your membership license covers multiple projects and clients.
Q: What if I want to use your fonts or artwork in a mobile app or desktop software?
A: That requires an extended app license. Contact us for pricing and terms.
Q: Do you offer multi-seat or enterprise licensing?
A: Yes — if you’re a team, agency, or organization needing multi-seat or unlimited use, email us for custom licensing.
Q: I’m not sure if my use is allowed. What should I do?
A: Reach out! We’re usually quick to respond, and we prefer approving respectful, creative use rather than restricting it unnecessarily. Contact us

While a lot of the library is available for free, some is kept behind closed dusty doors only to be accessed by our lovely members.
