Drop Cap Letter L – Striped Engraved Blackletter Initial with Swash

A bold blackletter capital L, shaded with fine diagonal hatching and wrapped in a thick outlined shadow that gives it a chunky, almost dimensional look. The heavy top bar curls into a pointed swash, while a sweeping lower stroke cuts across the base and ends in a sharp flick. Solid black counters inside the letter make a strong contrast with the hatched fill. It comes cut out on a transparent background, so it drops straight into a page as a chapter opening initial for a book or zine.
