Sports Alphabet Drop Caps A-Z – Framed Athletic Initial
This sports alphabet runs from A to Z in square frames, each bold serif capital sharing its box with an athlete in action. Rowers, golfers, fencers, a pole vaulter, a horse rider clearing a jump, a polo player, a skier and cyclists all appear, and the sheet also has bonus versions of A and D with a motorcar and a horse-drawn cart. Many figures step out past the frame edges, which gives these drop caps an energetic, turn-of-the-century feel. Each letter is cut out on a transparent background, so a single initial can open an article in a sports club newsletter.
