Bus Ticket – Midcentury Birmingham Exchange Ticket with Bold X and 6d Fare

A Birmingham City Transport bus ticket marked Exchange Ticket (Special), with a big 6d fare and a heavy black X stamped across it. Stage numerals 1 to 9 run down both edges in chunky typography around a pale blue-green center stripe, with the serial Rb 0046 across the top and a punched hole on the right. The Bell Punch Company, London imprint sits along the foot. This Midcentury piece of English transport ephemera is cut out on a transparent background, so it drops straight into a collage or travel journal layout.
