A Victorian trade card for Rutherford Bros, a photography studio at 65 Sauchiehall Street near Hope Street in Glasgow, Scotland. The lettering is stacked in curved and straight lines, from the arched School of Photography heading to a decorated J&R monogram and a note that negatives are kept and copies can always be had. Delicate scrollwork flourishes frame the studio name and the city like little dividers, and a curling ornament closes out the bottom. Layer it into junk journal pages as genuine photographer’s ephemera.
