London Transport Ticket – Midcentury Purple Fare Stub With Torn Edges

A London Transport fare ticket stamped in purple ink on cream card, with a 3d fare, class C and stage 48 boxed across the top. Below that sits a neat grid of ruled panels: the London Transport heading, a small block of travel conditions, the date box, ticket number 7669 and a Not Transferable strip at the foot, all between rough torn edges. The blocky lettering and chunky numbers give it a strong Midcentury typography feel, a real piece of English transit ephemera. It comes cut out on a transparent background, so it drops straight into a junk journal spread.
