Soap Advertisement Ticket – Midcentury Bold Display Type and Lettering

A small English advertisement ticket for Roberts White Windsor Soap, set in bold condensed display type that urges shoppers to get theirs. The lettering stacks in centered lines, from a slanted italic opener down to a list of stockists naming Woolworths, British Home Stores, grocers and chemists. There is a tiny A4126 code in the corner and a punched hole at the left. It has that plain Midcentury shop-counter typography, all heavy sans serif capitals in black ink. Cut out on a transparent background, it slots easily into collage and junk journal pages.
