Cardboard Texture – Dusty Mauve Paper Background With Punched Hole

A tall rectangle of dusty mauve cardboard, speckled with fine colored fibers and pierced by a single round hole near the left edge. This midcentury board from England has the soft, felted surface of inexpensive pulp stock, with tiny dark flecks scattered through the grain. It comes cut out on a transparent background, so it can be dropped straight into a composition as a paper texture or a layered background. Try it as a backing scrap in collage and scrapbook pages.
