Birmingham Bus Tickets – Midcentury 6d Pair with Red Herringbone Panels

Two joined Birmingham C.T. bus tickets, each a sixpence fare, numbered Ca 06797 and Ca 06798 with a punch hole between them. Both have ORD., CHILDS and W’KMNS fare boxes over a red herringbone panel, a purple stamped 13 in the ordinary column, and the Bell Punch Co., Ltd., London maker’s line along the bottom. The bold serif numerals and boxed layout give the pair a strong Midcentury English transport feel, and it comes cut out on a transparent background. Drop it into a junk journal spread or travel-themed collage for instant typographic texture.
