Birmingham Bus Tickets – Pink 2d Pair With Punched Holes, Midcentury

Two pink Birmingham C.T. 2d bus tickets, still joined, numbered Qh 50549 and 50550 in bold black type. Each ticket has a ruled grid with Ord., Childs and W’kmns boxes, a purple 08 stamped in the ordinary fare box, small lettering reading Not Transferable, and the Bell Punch Co. Ltd., London imprint along the foot. A round punched hole sits between the pair, and notches cut into the top and bottom edges, so you get the fibrous paper texture of real English transport ephemera. This Midcentury ticket strip is cut out on a transparent background and drops straight into junk journal and collage layouts.
