Birmingham Transport Ticket – Pink Midcentury Children’s Fare Stub

A pink Birmingham City Transport ticket for a children’s special 2d fare, serial number Ka 7702, with a punched hole near the top. Columns of fare stage numerals run down both edges, and a bold black X and C overprint crosses the central text panel, giving the typography a layered, stamped look. It was printed by the Bell Punch Company of London, a familiar name in English ticket printing, and has that plain Midcentury utility style. Cut out on a transparent background, it drops straight into a junk journal spread or collage layout.
