Bus Ticket – Chester City Transport 45p Fare with Torn Edges

This is a torn paper bus ticket from Chester City Transport in England, stamped with a big blue 45p over the fare grid. Bold serial numbers run across the top, and below them sits a ruled box with Ord., Child and Transfer columns plus fare stage numbers 1 to 6 down both sides. A pale blue stripe runs down the right edge, and the small Control Systems Ltd typography sits along the ragged bottom. It’s a midcentury piece of public transport ephemera, cut out on a transparent background, and it drops easily into a junk journal or travel-themed collage.
