Bus Ticket – Midcentury Birmingham Fare Stub with Red Letter M

A Midcentury bus ticket from The Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Co., numbered 1A 2092 with an ordinary city fare of 1½d. The layout splits into OUT and IN columns of numbered stages 1 to 4, with the company name running vertically down the middle and a big red letter M stamped across everything. Bold display type and chunky numerals give it real typographic punch, and the conductor’s punched hole at stage 4 is still there. Made by Bell Punch Co., Ltd. of London, England, it comes cut out on a transparent background, ready to drop into a travel-themed collage.
