Bus Ticket – Midcentury Serif Type, Weekday Grid and Red 2/- Overprint

A bus ticket issued for Davies Bros. (Pencader) Ltd., serial number C 0904, made by Bell Punch Co. Ltd. of London. Bold serif type sits in a ruled grid, with In and Out columns for single and return journeys and the weekdays Mon to Sat stacked down each side. A large red 2/- overprint runs across the lavender gray card, giving it a real Midcentury English transport feel. It comes cut out on a transparent background, ready to tuck into a travel journal spread.
