Davies Bros Pencader Bus Ticket – Red 10p Overprint and Weekday Return Grid

This bus ticket from Davies Bros. (Pencader) Ltd. carries a huge red 10p hand-drawn across its single and return sections. The top shows a bold serial number, D 7932, above the company name in heavy serif type. Below that, IN and OUT columns list Mon through Sat for punching. It was printed by Bell Punch Co., Ltd. of London, and its tight ruled boxes and chunky slab lettering give it a strong midcentury look. Cut out on a transparent background, it drops straight into a travel-themed collage.
