A lilac fare ticket from Davies Bros. (Pencader) Ltd., stamped with a huge red outlined 4/6 that runs right across the middle. The layout is stacked ruled panels: the serial D 4905 in heavy serif numerals at the top, a Single box above a Return box, and In and Out columns listing Mon through Sat down each side. Made by Bell Punch Co., Ltd. of London, it has that Midcentury English transit typography in chunky black serif type. It comes cut out on a transparent background, so it can be layered straight into a travel journal spread.
