Omnibus Bus Ticket – Midcentury Red Fare Numerals and Stage Number Columns
An English omnibus ticket with a big red fare numeral stamped over numbered stage columns and serial W 6351 in heavy display type. Printed by Bell Punch Co. Ltd. of London, it still shows the conductor’s punch hole and small serif text asking the passenger to show the ticket on demand. The Midcentury typography mixes rows of numbers from 1 to 30, a bold sans serif heading and chunky slab figures. It comes cut out on a transparent background, ready to drop into a travel-themed collage or journal spread.
