Tram Tickets – Pink Birmingham 2d Pair With Punch Hole and Torn Edges

A pair of pink Birmingham C.T. tram tickets, still joined, each priced at 2d and stamped with serial numbers Pg 87285 and 87286. The stacked layout shows two boxed panels with ORD., CHILDS and W’KMNS columns over a fine herringbone ground, with a round punch hole between them and torn edges at the top and bottom. A purple ink 02 sits in the first box, and the Bell Punch Co., Ltd., London imprint runs along the foot of each ticket. The bold serif typography and fare numbers give it a Midcentury English ephemera feel, and it comes cut out on a transparent background for junk journal collage.
